http://gkurl.us/a

• Add a “+” sign to the end of the link —

How can I share a gkurl.us link?

You can easily share a gkurl.us link via Twitter, Facebook, Ping.fm, Friendfeed, and even more! After your url has been generated, it will bring you to a page with share buttons on the bottom. The title is automatically pulled from the page, and appears after you click the share button for each!

If someone else shortens the same URL as me, do we both see the same number of clicks?

gkurl.us allows for multiple shortening of the same URL. If this happens, you will see an icon for aggregate stats, which will show all of your stats together, and the regular page shows your link only!

What does "direct" in the stats page Traffic Referrers mean?

Many users click on gkurl.us links outside browsers with no referrer data, which makes it difficult for us to identify what client they are using. Direct Traffic includes people clicking a bit.ly link from:
• Desktop email clients like Microsoft Outlook or Apple mail
• AIR applications like Twirl or Tweetdeck
• SMS/MMS/IM messages • IRC Chat messages
• If it is typed into the browser directly
